Chris Tolman
Colored Pencil Artist
Chris Tolman lives in Bemidji and works full time as the Adventure Educator
at the Forest History Center in Grand Rapids, Mn. She graduated from Bemidji
State University with a bachelor degree in Elementary Education plus Middle
school math and science. She prefers to teach in an informal setting as it
allows for more freedom and creativity. 

When she is not at her full-time job, she runs a non-profit from her home
called "The Nature Connection" which allows her to share her passion for
nature using live birds of prey. She also finds time to work on her art
which also reflects her love of nature.

Linda Rother
Linda specializes in photography of horses and this body of work is a result of living fully and creating from my passion for the horses I love. They reflect a spirit of place, the place I call home.
Marion Caroline
Acrylic & Watercolors
Marion holds a B.S. Degree in Art and was a local middle school teacher for ten years. Her Artwork includes watercolors, acrylics, oils, and paintings on feathers. She is best known for her Equine Art.

Currently Mary is an independent theater director/costumer & scenic designer. She specializes in weaving, writing and origami.  Mary is the current President of Gallery North.
Dean & Lisa Weber
Lapidary Photography & Jewelry Design
  Both Dean and Lisa Weber love collecting gem stone and minerals and have been doing so for many years.  Dean is an outstanding collector of comic books with over 10K Comics in his collection.  Collecting gems and minerals is also a passion and his collection is massive and this is why he is making jewelry and doing Lapidary Photography (the imaging of stones).   

Dee Dee Narum

Dee Dee lives in Bemidji MN and works mostly in stained glass, broken dishes, beads, buttons and other "Found" objects.  I also love to to quilt and collage.  I basically love working with most mediums that create beauty from the gathering of bits and pieces.  I often upcycle old windows, doors and picture frames to reuse in my art.  I also love teaching classes. I want to encourage others to just enjoy the Fun Of Creativity!

Northern Artists Association

Northern Artist Association Northern Artist Association was established in 1972 as a non-profit organization to encourage growth among beginning as well as more advanced artists. Members meet at the Eagles Club on Mondays from 10:30 to 3pm to paint, and monthly meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month, Sept. through May. New members are always welcome, and dues are $10. per year. Northern Artist members display their work at Merit Care Lab, Merit Care Walk-in Clinic, and at the Artist Nook at Gallery North.
