Marion holds a B.S. Degree in Art and was a local middle school teacher for ten years. Her Artwork includes watercolors, acrylics, oils, and paintings on feathers. She is best known for her Equine Art.

Currently Mary is an independent theater director/costumer & scenic designer. She specializes in weaving, writing and origami.  Mary is the current President of Gallery North.
Monie Martin
Basketry
Monie has been weaving baskets for 25 years, teaching basketry for 15 years, and exhibits and sells baskets at art fairs, and at Gallery North in Bemidji. Monie is President of the Headwaters Basket Guild, and a member of Artists of Minnesota, and the National Basket Organization.

Annette Detmers Meyer
PROFESSIONAL Acrylic and Oil Artist
A self taught artist Annette is a artist who specializes in wildlife and sunset paintings.  Annette has been an exhibitor at several competitions including at the State Capital of Minnesota

Northern Artists Association

Northern Artist Association Northern Artist Association was established in 1972 as a non-profit organization to encourage growth among beginning as well as more advanced artists. Members meet at the Eagles Club on Mondays from 10:30 to 3pm to paint, and monthly meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month, Sept. through May. New members are always welcome, and dues are $10. per year. Northern Artist members display their work at Merit Care Lab, Merit Care Walk-in Clinic, and at the Artist Nook at Gallery North.
